At a very competitive sectional meet, the Trailblazers worked hard and posted some impressive swims at finals!

Our medley relay of Keegan Priest, Austin Clark, Cordell Wilson, and Hayden Suarez-Davis stuck right on their seed-time to earn 6th place. This relay included a season-best fly split of 25.84 from Cordell Wilson!

Cordell Wilson blasted past everyone in the b-final of the 100 fly to drop .2 from Thursday for a new best time of 57.34 and 9th place. In an incredibly competitive a-final, Keegan Priest dropped .2 from his 100 fly on Thursday to go 52.89 and earn 4th place.

In the 100 free, Hayden Suarez-Davis continued to drop time, and his finish time of 53.14 held on to his 12th seed.

Despite his goggles flipping and swimming most of the race blind, Cordell Wilson dropped 5 seconds in the 500 free to go 5:49.39 and come in 15th. Andrew Laramore was not far behind with his second-best time ever of 6:06.66 and 16th place!

Keegan Priest added the tiniest amount in his 100 back, but it was all cool because 53.10 was good enough to win! This victory means that Keegan qualifies to swim this event at the State Meet.

Austin Clark snuck into the breaststroke final, and he went his second-best time ever of 1:13.70 and earned 16th place!

Finishing us off in the 400 free relay, Andrew Laramore kicked us off with his best ever flat start 100 free of 59.13! Austin Clark also went a season-best split of 57.52, while Hayden Suarez-Davis and Keegan Priest were right on their times from Thursday to earn 8th place.

Gordon Bradley and Foster Wilson served as the best, warmed up alternates ever!

Though this is the end of the season for most of the Blazers, most will go to cheer on Keegan Priest as he competes at the State Meet on Friday, February 28th.
